This has been a characteristic of the charismatic movement from its beginning in the early 1900's. It was scary making the decision to leave but leaving and going back to my Bible church was like going from desert to oasis. It is over twenty years since I distanced myself from the charismatic movement. I always thought the verse in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 was peculiar.
